PY791 Computer Analysis of Psychological Data   (3.00 cr.)

Prerequisite: PY746 or written permission of the instructor. Corequisite: PY763. Students learn to use the latest version of Predictive Analytics Software (PASW, formerly SPSS) to perform some of the most currently preferred parametric and nonparametric statistical procedures (e.g., chi-squared, t-test, correlation, ANOVA). Coverage includes an examination of the various assumptions for each statistical test. In addition, students learn how to properly present research findings in written form (using the latest APA format). (Fall/Spring)
